PR Leader Baltics (fixed term)

About the role
The role of PR Leader Baltics is to strengthen the image of IKEA as a unique, innovative, meaningful, high-reputation company and employer in the Baltic region, as well as a life at home expert in the region. As a PR Leader, you will work with external and internal communication in all 3 Baltic countries, using integrated communication tactics and working from concept creation to implementation. You will be a member of a dynamic, creative communication team at IKEA Baltics.
This is a two-year fixed-term position, with the potential to transition into a permanent employment contract.
What you will be doing as a PR Leader Baltics at Corporate Communication team:
- Implement PR activities as well as drive leadership of life at home. PR activities will consist from media relations to integrated campaigns in all 3 Baltic countries.
- Prepare the earned media material: press releases, articles, and comments in English and at least one local language of the Baltic countries.
- Plan, manage and implement paid media campaigns.
- Organise PR events and other activities dedicated to IKEA stakeholders.
- Support organisation with internal communication activities, e.g. preparing internal communication kits, organising events and supporting businesses in their own internal communication efforts.
We at IKEA will love you because you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in PR and the media relations field.
- High-level planning skills and the ability to develop long-term plans.
- Experience in running complex campaigns with multiple touchpoints and stakeholders.
- Excellent project management, event organising skills, and ability to manage a network of different internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency and ease in dealing with press releases, media comments, and other text works – both in the local language and English.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Background or work experience in and a passion for sustainability are highly valued.
